Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your access to and use of the ScaleAPIs website, platform, dashboards, APIs, demos, and related services, including services made available through products such as ProdaPic and ProdaDoc.

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the ScaleAPIs Terms of Service and any other applicable written agreement between you and Scale APIs.

General Rule

You may use ScaleAPIs only for lawful, authorized, and responsible purposes.

You may not use ScaleAPIs in any way that:

violates applicable law

infringes or misappropriates the rights of any person or entity

interferes with the security, availability, integrity, or performance of ScaleAPIs or any third-party system

exposes Scale APIs, its customers, or third parties to fraud, abuse, privacy harm, or other unreasonable risk

Unauthorized Access And Abuse

You may not use ScaleAPIs to:

access, attempt to access, or help others access systems, accounts, websites, or content without authorization

misuse credentials, session tokens, cookies, headers, or similar access mechanisms

test, probe, scan, or exploit vulnerabilities without prior written authorization

bypass or attempt to bypass technical restrictions, access controls, login controls, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, bot protections, or similar safeguards in a way that is unlawful, unauthorized, or abusive

impersonate another person or entity, or falsely represent affiliation, authority, or identity

Scraping, Capture, Monitoring, And Surveillance Misuse

You may not use ScaleAPIs for:

unlawful scraping, monitoring, or capture activity

stalking, harassment, unlawful surveillance, privacy-invasive monitoring, or other abusive observation of individuals or organizations

bulk collection of third-party content for resale, unauthorized republication, mass redistribution, or model training unless separately authorized in writing

use that violates the rights of target-site operators, end users, or other third parties

If your use of ScaleAPIs involves interacting with third-party sites, applications, or content, you are responsible for ensuring that your actions are lawful, authorized, and consistent with any permissions or rights you are required to have.

Harmful Content And Malicious Activity

You may not use ScaleAPIs to create, process, transmit, store, or distribute:

malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code

phishing pages, credential-harvesting content, or deceptive impersonation material

spam, fraudulent content, or other abusive mass-distribution content

exploitative, illegal, or harmful material, including material that violates child-safety laws

You may not use ScaleAPIs to deliver malicious payloads, conduct denial-of-service activity, stress-test ScaleAPIs without approval, or otherwise degrade the platform for other users.

Regulated And High-Risk Uses

Unless Scale APIs has expressly agreed otherwise in writing, you may not use ScaleAPIs for:

processing highly regulated personal data where a separate agreement is required

medical diagnosis or treatment decisions

credit, employment, housing, insurance, or similar high-impact eligibility decisions

law-enforcement surveillance or similar public-authority monitoring uses

any use case where failure, misuse, or inaccuracy could reasonably create a high risk of significant harm and the service has not been expressly approved for that use

Platform Integrity And Fair Use

You may not:

interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of ScaleAPIs

use the services in a manner that materially degrades the experience of other users

circumvent quotas, rate limits, plan limits, account restrictions, or other usage controls

resell, sublicense, or provide shared access to the services except as expressly authorized by Scale APIs

reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code or non-public system behavior except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law

Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for:

the legality and appropriateness of your requests, inputs, and workflows

obtaining any permissions, rights, consents, or authorizations required for your use of the services

the destinations, URLs, HTML, credentials, cookies, headers, webhook endpoints, and other inputs you submit to the services

ensuring that your use of generated outputs complies with applicable law and third-party rights

Enforcement

Scale APIs may investigate suspected violations of this Acceptable Use Policy and may take any action it reasonably considers necessary to protect the platform, customers, third parties, or legal rights, including:

blocking or rejecting requests

rate limiting or throttling usage

removing content or disabling workflows

suspending, restricting, or terminating access

preserving relevant records

reporting activity where legally required

cooperating with law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other lawful authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the platform or others

Scale APIs may act under this Acceptable Use Policy without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary.

Updates

Scale APIs may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Updated versions will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by applicable law.
