Scope

This Refund Policy applies to direct purchases made through Scale APIs for self-serve subscriptions, plans, and related billing made available through the ScaleAPIs website and platform.

This Refund Policy does not override:

any separately negotiated enterprise agreement

any marketplace billing or refund rules that apply to a marketplace purchase

any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law

Subscription Charges

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated in a separate written agreement, subscription charges are non-refundable once billed.

If you cancel a paid subscription, cancellation will generally take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the applicable paid features until the end of that period, and no prorated refund will be issued for unused time, partial periods, or unused included usage.

Cases Where Refunds May Be Issued

Scale APIs may issue a refund, partial refund, billing correction, or account credit where appropriate in cases such as:

duplicate charges

confirmed unauthorized charges after reasonable review

clear billing-system errors

charges made in error by Scale APIs

In some cases, Scale APIs may provide a service credit, account credit, or other billing adjustment instead of a cash refund where that is the more appropriate remedy.

Service Issues And Outages

Temporary outages, degraded performance, API errors, or service interruptions do not automatically entitle you to a refund.

Where Scale APIs determines that a billing adjustment is appropriate in connection with a service issue, Scale APIs may provide a service credit, account credit, or other reasonable adjustment instead of a cash refund.

Free, Trial, Beta, Promotional, Demo, And Evaluation Access

Free, trial, beta, promotional, demo, and evaluation access is generally provided without refund eligibility because no subscription fee was charged for that access.

If paid promotional or evaluation access is offered under separate written terms, those terms will control to the extent of any conflict with this Refund Policy.

Marketplace Purchases

If you purchase access to a Scale APIs service through a third-party marketplace, reseller, or partner platform, the billing and refund rules of that marketplace, reseller, or partner platform may apply first.

Scale APIs may review and support marketplace-related billing issues where appropriate, but Scale APIs does not control third-party marketplace refund decisions unless stated otherwise in writing.

Enterprise Agreements

If you are covered by a separately negotiated enterprise agreement, order form, or other signed written contract with Scale APIs, that agreement will control to the extent it includes refund, credit, service-credit, or billing-adjustment terms that differ from this Refund Policy.

How To Request A Refund Review

To request a billing review, refund review, or billing correction, contact:

billing@scaleapis.com

Please include enough information for Scale APIs to investigate the request, such as:

the account email address

the workspace or account identifier, if available

the invoice, receipt, transaction reference, or payment reference

the reason for the request

any relevant dates or supporting information

Scale APIs will generally respond to billing or refund-review requests within 5 business days, although more complex cases may require additional time.

Chargebacks And Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, please contact Scale APIs first at billing@scaleapis.com so the issue can be reviewed promptly.

Filing an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute may result in suspension or restriction of account access while the matter is reviewed.

Policy Updates

Scale APIs may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by applicable law.
