No charge for failed requests — unlike other APIs, ScaleAPIs only bills for successful renders. Failed requests due to timeouts, invalid URLs, or infrastructure errors cost you nothing.

FAQ

Pricing questions, answered.

The pricing page can support a free-start path, but live self-serve account provisioning depends on the platform control plane being enabled.

Billing rules will be enforced by the platform control plane. Until paid plans are fully live, pricing language should be treated as plan design rather than an active billing commitment.

Yes. The platform is being structured around workspaces that can hold access to one or more API products.

The recommended first launch model is capped plans with hard limits. True overages should only go live after durable metering, Stripe sync, and reconciliation are proven.

Annual billing can be offered once Stripe products and prices are configured for the live platform.

Enterprise customers can discuss custom limits, support terms, and deployment requirements in a separate written agreement.

Retention depends on the selected workflow, delivery mode, and configured output storage. The legal supplements describe service-specific handling.

Custom service commitments can be handled in a separately negotiated enterprise agreement when operationally supportable.
